It needs to start at an early age
If all schools could incoorperate a program into thier school that talks about Bullying and ways to make it stop there would be less of it. Bully Proofing your school needs to happen every day not just during an awareness day or week. You need your whole school and community on board to make the change.

Please don't let this be your story!
Such a precious life taken too early ~ all because of a mistake she made that BULLIES could not let rest. At this moment I ask you to think of your own life and the mistakes you've made. Life is full of them we are supposed to fail from time to time. We are supposed to learn from mistakes NOT be rediculed and harrased because of them. It's sickening!
There are no words to describe the pain this young girl must have been going through. She tried to face it herself, she moved to different schools, she went to councelling, she tried to ignore the taunts and constant reminders of her past. Her pain lead her to anxiety, depression, drugs, alcohol, cutting, sucide attempts then death.
Please don't let this become your story. Your life is more important!
Yes her pain is finally being heard, people are FINALLY listening...but for the wrong reasons! Her story needs to be shared but not be copied. Ending your life is NOT the answer even if you feel you cannot see any other way. You are NOT alone even if you cannot see your path...

CBS News Anchor's Response to a Bully
"64% of Canadian Children have been bullied at school." "Bullying occurs once every 7 minutes on the playground and once every 25 minutes in the classroom." So how can we stop this? We need to educate and get children, youth, and adults to intervene!
